A 17-year-old died Monday night after a crash in Whitehall Township, according to officials.
Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said in a news release that Javian Alexander Rivera of Lower Macungie Township died in a crash in the 2000 block of Orchard Drive.
Rivera was the passenger in a vehicle that rolled over. He was ejected from the vehicle, according to Buglio.
Rivera was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
A family member started a GoFundMe campaign to assist Rivera’s family. As of Tuesday afternoon, it had raised more than $2,900 of its $9,000 goal. Those who wish to donate may do so at .
The Lehigh County district attorney’s office is assisting Whitehall police in the investigation.
