Bethlehem police conducting a welfare check Saturday morning found two adults dead from apparent gunshot wounds, the department said in a news release.
An investigation is under way but police said there is no danger to the public.
The release said officers found the bodies after entering the residence on the 700 block of Redfern Lane at 9:49 a.m.
The Northampton County Coroner’s Office is assisting the investigation.
On Monday, Northampton County DA Stephen Baratta said he expects more information will be released in the coming days as the investigation proceeds.
